Professional Voice Users
Professional voice users include anyone who requires heavy voice use for their livelihood. This population includes teachers/educators, customer service representatives, administrative assistants, salespeople, servers, call center workers, and anyone else who speaks frequently in their job. These individuals may be at high risk for developing a voice disorder due to a heavy vocal load. For these people, voice-related symptoms such as hoarseness, vocal fatigue, discomfort or pain with voice use, and/or voice loss can be very disruptive to their life, as many are unable to work without a healthy, reliable voice.
The voice pathologists at The Blaine Block Institute for Voice Analysis and Rehabilitation have the knowledge and experience required to assess and treat voice-related symptoms in professional voice users. We work to provide individualized information to help maintain your best voice possible while aiming to resolve voice-related symptoms through specific exercises and strategies for vocal rehabilitation.
